U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/Food and Drug Administration/Center for Devices and Radiological Health
DJA is the Prime Contractor for a Records Management project that focuses primarily on Document Conversion wherein text and graphic images of existing documents are digitized following a set step by step process that includes preparation, document enhancement pre-scanning, indexing and quality control. These documents are then stored in the agency’s internal system for storage and retrieval. The converted documents are indexed according to the agency’s specifications.
Texaco Corporation
DJA served as the lead consultant to the Director of Employment and Diversity to develop and implement strategies that included the design and delivery of a three-tiered training module for the CEO and his management team, for senior and mid-level management, and for the general employee population. As an ongoing part of the process, needs assessments, focus groups, management coaching and counseling, policy and practice reviews, and 360-degree feedback and team-building sessions were conducted. Other efforts have included work with "Diversity Councils" and review or development of leadership and retention plans as well as the training of nearly 3,000 employees on workplace diversity issues.
CoreStates
As a subcontractor, DJA supported a systemwide change effort that began as a diversity initiative and was later expanded to include major organization reengineering. Focus groups were facilitated; specific training modules were designed and delivered; and key employees were identified and placed into newly created leadership development programs. This work was part of the organization's continuous improvement process.
GPU
DJA, under a subcontract, developed a management assessment protocol for the Nuclear Division of General Public Utilities (GPU). The tool was used to evaluate leadership and diversity as part of the company's annual appraisal process. Protocol development required DJA and partners to solicit input from senior GPU managers from across the country through direct interviews and teleconferencing. DJA applied insight gained to help managers understand and become skillful in using diversity leadership concepts during the product development process.
